The Gallery item displays an image from the first night of play at Terenure Badminton Centre. I am sure all those competing in the Midland Branch Tournament must had a great thrill in playing in this new hall. It would have been a proud moment for all those who worked so hard to bring the Hall project to fruition. Amongst those principally involved were Frank Peard, Colin Maidment, Dick Bell and Ken McComas.

In the Historical item is displayed some advertisements from people offering coaching services from 1927. It would be interesting to know a little more about the abilities and methods employed. The Badminton Association were certainly not making any recommendations.

Our knowledge of past Badminton history is continuing to grow but we would hope to obtain more information on clubs and county associations.
