The Historical item displays Fixture List for St.Phillips Badminton Club 1st. Team for 1940- 41. This item was kindly donated to the Museum by Frank Peard. He was a member of the club before subsequently joining Ailesbury Badminton Club

The Gallery item displays an image of the Irish Thomas Cup team from 1970. The note attached indicates that there was some controversy about the team selection.

These are very difficult times for everybody and I hope all Badminton people are taking care and keeping safe. Being confined to home might be an opportunity to check out Badminton memorabilia with a view to augmenting the Museum collection at a later date!
