The Gallery Item displays an image of Alexandra Palace courts (circa 1911) where many early important matches were played. The comments on the lighting systems at that time is interesting.

In the Historical Item we have shown a Timeline for R.H. (Bob) Lambert who was playing top level Badminton at the time of the Alexandra Palace photograph. These details of Bob Lambert have been taken from records held by the Museum. This is a work in progress as more information may come to light in the future. The timeline then can be adjusted.

We are pleased to advise that there will be an official opening of the Museum prior to the Leinster Branch Annual General Meeting on the 20th. May. The opening will be timed for 1.15 p.m. approximately.
